Roles
As Principal of The King David School from 2000 to 2014, Michele developed and led a team which achieved outstanding academic results at all levels of the school, K to Year 12, being ranked 10th in the State in VCE ( Victorian Certificate of Education ) in 2013.
Commencing as a classroom teacher, Michele soon moved into the roles of Learning Area Leader and Year Level Coordinator before becoming a Deputy Principal and Principal.
Known for creating an open entry and inclusive school environment, Michele championed the ability and right of every student to learn.
Whether negotiating Enterprise Agreements, conducting Performance Management or undertaking a Workplace Investigation, Michele is highly respected for her commitment to the integrity of the process and to the dignity and entitlements of all participants.
